About the instructor:
Stephanie Tapia is a belly dance instructor from Mexico. She has been studying belly dance for over 17 years, and has instructed for the last 5 years. She had her own dance studio in Tecate BC. Mexico. She has been privileged to teach in cultural and community institutions. During these years, my students and I have performed solo and as a group in various dance presentations. Some of my mentors have been Ansuya Rathor, Jillina Carlano, Amir Thaleb and Yousef Constantino who are world renowned experts in this dance genre. I love dancing but what I love even more is being able to teach this amazing dance and seeing my students learn, work out, have fun, be aware of the present and increase their level of self-esteem. |
